Honoring the Gift of Motherhood Happy Mother’s Day
This Mother’s Day, we pause to celebrate and give thanks for one of God’s most profound and sacred assignments: the role of a mother.
Motherhood is not a coincidence or a matter of chance—it is a calling ordained by God Himself. Scripture reminds us in Psalm 139:13-16 that God knit each of us together in our mother’s womb. Before our bodies were even formed, He saw us. He knew us. He appointed the very woman who would nurture us, shape us, and reflect His love in tangible ways.
A mother’s influence begins long before a child speaks their first words or takes their first steps. It is through her prayers, her guidance, her gentle correction, and her enduring love that a child learns about God’s grace and faithfulness. Whether through birth, adoption, or spiritual mentorship, mothers are co-laborers with God, sowing seeds of faith and destiny into the next generation.
Today, we honor every mother—those who are raising children, those who have raised children, and those who mother others in the Spirit. Your presence is a divine assignment. Your love is a reflection of the heart of God. And your impact, whether seen or unseen, is eternal.
“You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb… You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book.” — Psalm 139:13,16 (NLT)
Happy Mother’s Day. You are loved. You are cherished. You are chosen.
Come experience a joyful time of worship, community, and the life-giving truth of the Gospel.
